EARTH DAY 2019
BBA is hosting an annual Earth Day event on April 22nd, at
BBA’s Mountain Campus in Peru. This will be a
full school day event (back in time for buses) full of environmental based workshops and activities. You will have two workshop sessions, one before lunch and one after lunch. For each session you will be able to choose one out of four options to attend. Lunch and snack will be provided, all you have to bring is yourself! Along with Earth Day, there are other events you can read about and sign up for too! You can do as many or as few events as you want, the sign ups are independent from each other. These events are for any high school student in Vermont who is interested! Register by clicking the boxes of the events below!

The Earth Day 5k is a new addition to BBA’s Earth Day celebration. It will occur on April 22nd right after school at 3:30pm in the Sophomore lot. The cost of participation is $5 to benefit the Humane Society as well as help pay for the costs of current and future Earth Day Celebrations. There will be Earth Day Merch for sale as well.
The Youth Lobby is a day event that takes place right outside of the state house in Montpelier. A bunch of environmental organizations that work in the state come and set up a booth so you can learn about which each one is and how it works. The state legislatures will come out on their lunch break to talk to all their constituents. Along with booths to learn about and talking to legislatures, there will also be speakers talking, a band playing, and free Ben & Jerry’s to partake to. You will need to bring your lunch! It will be on May 1st. No fee!
